Installation Tips

Inline Bacterial Viral Filters are typically attached to the CPAP or BiLevel machine's air outlet. Machines with integrated heated tubing require the tubing to be connected directly to the machine — in this case, attach the BV Filter at the mask end of the heated tubing. A FeatherWeight connector tube can be added to move the filter further away from the mask attachment if needed.

Please Note: Some users find that Inline Bacterial Viral Filters can reduce pressure and therapy effectiveness in humidified CPAP/BiPAP machines. Use of these filters may also adversely affect auto-sensing on Auto-CPAP machines, especially at low pressures (below 7 cm).
