The Philips Respironics Amara View Full Face CPAP Mask features an innovative under-the-nose cushion design engineered to prevent red marks and irritation on the nasal bridge. Its minimalist profile covers less of the face, providing a wide and open field of vision that allows you to read or watch television comfortably while wearing glasses.
Equipped with a universal frame compatible with all cushion sizes, this mask includes a 360-degree swivel elbow tube that moves flexibly to reduce hose pull during sleep. The lightweight silicone seal and optional five-point adjustable headgear deliver balanced pressure distribution and reliable stability for back and side sleepers alike.

Highlights
- Open Vision Design: This design offers a wide range of visibility. This full-face mask is controlled by the seal created around the base of the nose and mouth, with support provided by headgear extending from the front of the mask to the crown of the head. Forehead support is not required to stabilize the mask.
- Under the Nose Cushion: A rectangular hole is found at the top of the full face cushion. This nostril opening is intended to allow pressure into the nostrils without irritating the nose. The user must keep their nose above the nostril opening, not letting it fall through the crevice. CPAP therapy is impaired when the nose is not securely placed over the opening.
- Lightweight Materials: The Amara View Full Face CPAP Mask is composed of lightweight materials. The soft, silicone full-face cushion snaps into a lightweight frame, which covers only the nostrils and mouth. The frame and full-face cushion do not extend past the base of the nose, relieving the user from bearing the weight of the mask on the bridge of their nose. The headgear evenly displaces the weight of the mask to help lower the number of pressure points.
- Universal Size Mask Frame: The Amara View Full Face Mask features a universal mask frame, allowing for the replacement of compatible cushions. The Amara View Full Face cushions in sizes small, medium, and large are compatible with this mask frame.
- Adjustable Headgear with Crown Strap: The Amara View Full Face mask features headgear with four points of adjustment around the mask frame and a fifth point of adjustment using a crown strap at the top of the head. The crown strap crosses over the top of the head, creating a halo shape around the back of the head to promote a secure grip and even distribution of pressure.
- Short Tube with Elbow and Swivel: The short tube extends from the front of the mask frame and connects to the cuff of the CPAP hose. The built-in elbow attaches to the mask frame and the swivel secures to the cuff of the CPAP hose. The flexible tubing moves with motion, and the 360-degree swivel reduces pull on the CPAP hose to assist in maintaining a seal.
- Quick-Release Headgear Clips: Quick-release headgear clips allow for the mask to be removed from the face. The headgear is designed to maintain its shape while the clips are detached.

How to use
Assembling Your Mask:
- Headgear - Thread the headgear straps through the mask frame top headgear slots and magnetic headgear clips.

- Mask Cushion - Grasp both sides and push it onto the mask frame.
- Quick Release Tube - Push onto the elbow until the quick release tabs click into place.
Fitting Your Mask:
Sizing the Mask: The mask should rest comfortably against the face. The cushion nostril opening goes under the nostrils. The headgear should be away from the eyes. The bottom of the mask cushion should rest just above the chin with the mouth slightly open.
Before putting on the mask:
- Headgear - Loosen to a large setting.
- Magnetic Headgear Clips - Grip and twist outward to disconnect from the magnetic headgear clip receiver. Optional: If the mask uses talon headgear clips, grip and twist away from the frame to disconnect.
Adjusting the Mask:
- Hold the mask against the face. Pull the headgear over the head.
- Mask cushion - Place the nose over the cushion nostril opening. Push the mask cushion up. Note: Do not place the nose in the cushion nostril opening.
- Magnetic Headgear Clips - Connect the magnetic headgear clip to the magnetic headgear clip receiver. Optional: If the mask uses talon headgear clips, press into place to connect.
- Headgear - Pull back the tabs to adjust the top and bottom side straps. The headgear should fit loosely against the face. Do not over-tighten.
- Headgear - Pull the crown strap tab over to reduce leaks around the nose.
- Headgear - Make final adjustments by pulling back the tabs to evenly adjust the top and bottom side straps. The headgear should feel snug, but not uncomfortably tight. Note: It should be possible to fit one finger underneath the top and bottom side straps.
Disassembling Your Mask:
- Magnetic Headgear Clips - Grip and twist away from the magnetic headgear clip receiver to disconnect. Optional: If the mask uses talon headgear clips, grip and twist away from the frame to disconnect.
- Headgear - Undo the straps. Pull out of headgear clips and mask frame top headgear slots.
